General Maintenance Technician (46191)

Other Fort Myers Beach,  FL | Full-time We are seeking a dependable and skilled General Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks for a residential property. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple types of maintenance work independently. Responsibilities will include general upkeep, preventative maintenance, and repairs to ensure the property remains in excellent condition. Responsibilities Perform routine pool maintenance, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and inspections Conduct window washing and general exterior cleaning Assist with HVAC maintenance, including basic AC unit servicing and filter changes Complete general maintenance tasks such as: Minor plumbing repairs Light electrical work (e.g., replacing fixtures, outlets) Painting and touch-ups Basic carpentry and repairs Identify maintenance issues and proactively recommend solutions Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently Keep the property clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times Qualifications Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or related field preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work Experience with pool maintenance and cleaning strongly preferred Ability to operate hand and power tools safely Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Disclaimer The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
