Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and skilled General Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks for a residential property. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple types of maintenance work independently. Responsibilities will include general upkeep, preventative maintenance, and repairs to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool maintenance, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and inspections
- Conduct window washing and general exterior cleaning
- Assist with HVAC maintenance, including basic AC unit servicing and filter changes
- Complete general maintenance tasks such as:
- Minor plumbing repairs
- Light electrical work (e.g., replacing fixtures, outlets)
- Painting and touch-ups
- Basic carpentry and repairs
- Identify maintenance issues and proactively recommend solutions
- Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
- Keep the property clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work
- Experience with pool maintenance and cleaning strongly preferred
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Hourly Range: $18-20/hr. This range represents the low and high for this position. The range will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, experience and performance.
